Prison Terms for Two in Deadly
Reading Apartment Robbery

Two men from Reading, Pennsylvania, Michael Williams, 44, and Andre Davis, 54, have been sentenced to significant prison terms following their guilty pleas in a fatal robbery case. The incident, which took place on September 11, 2022, at the Bookbindery apartment building in Reading, resulted in the death of 57-year-old tenant Bruce Sellers.

Williams and Davis appeared before Berks County Judge James Gavin, pleading guilty to robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. Williams received a sentence of seven to 14 years, while Davis was given six to 12 years. Both had been held in Berks County Prison since their arrest.

The case also involved Tyree Cleveland, 40, from Sinking Spring, identified as the shooter. Cleveland pleaded guilty to first-degree murder on May 26 and was sentenced to life without parole. He was already serving a life sentence for another murder in Lycoming County.

The robbery unfolded when Sellers was shot in the head after three men entered his apartment, intending to steal a gun. Witnesses identified Davis, known as "Baby," who lived on the same floor as Sellers, and had earlier had an altercation with the victim. Security footage showed Davis holding a door open for two men, identified as Williams and Cleveland, moments before the fatal incident.

A witness in Sellers’ bedroom during the shooting identified Cleveland, who was wearing a mask, as the assailant. Cleveland was seen pistol-whipping Sellers while demanding the location of the gun before the witness heard a gunshot. Cleveland, with a criminal history including a drug-trafficking conviction, was prohibited from possessing firearms.

Eagles Lead NFC East After Cowboys' Last-Second Loss to Dolphins

Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles reclaimed the top spot in the NFC East following a dramatic last-second loss by the Dallas Cowboys to the Miami Dolphins in Miami Gardens, Florida. The game's decisive moment came from Miami's Jason Sanders, who nailed his fifth field goal, a 29-yarder, as time ran out. This clutch field goal led the Dolphins to a narrow 22-20 victory, ensuring their place in the playoffs.

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa played a pivotal role, throwing for 293 yards and a touchdown. Tagovailoa's connection with Tyreek Hill was instrumental in the game's final drive, which covered 64 yards and drained the last 3:27 off the clock. Hill, back from an ankle injury, made nine catches for 99 yards.

For the Cowboys, quarterback Dak Prescott completed 20 of 32 passes for 253 yards, including two touchdowns. Despite this loss, the Cowboys have secured a playoff berth. Prescott's highlight was an 8-yard touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks, which momentarily put Dallas ahead. However, this was overshadowed by Sanders' remarkable performance.

Sanders' field goals included a career-long 57-yarder in the first quarter, followed by 52, 54, and 35-yard kicks, contributing significantly to the Dolphins' win. The Cowboys, now 10-5, have fallen a half-game behind the Eagles in the NFC East race.

The Eagles take on the Giants at 4:30 PM Monday evening.
